Members of the media are invited to a photo opportunity as a $25,000 cheque is presented to Glorious Organics Workers Co-operative of Aldergrove. The cheque represents the organization's prize money as a Winner in the West Region of The National Co-op Challenge.
The National Co-op Challenge was a social media contest developed by The Co-operators. Co-ops from across Canada submitted videos introducing their co-op and outlining their plans on how they would use prize money. Based on public voting online, Glorious Organics Workers Co-operative was declared a winner in the West Region.
Bethany Heppner, Financial Advisor for The Co-operators in Langley, will present the cheque.
