GUELPH, ON, March 22, 2018 /CNW/ - The Co-operators Group Limited is pleased to announce its newest member organization, the BC Agriculture Council (BCAC). The Co-operators, a Canadian insurance and financial services co-operative, now has 44 members, including co-operatives, credit union centrals and representative farm organizations.

BC Agriculture Council is the only provincial-wide general farm organization representing the farmers and ranchers of British Columbia. BCAC proudly serves nearly 30 commodity associations who in turn generate 96% of the farm gate sales in BC. BCAC's vision is to "Grow BC into the most dynamic and robust agriculture province in Canada" by continually improving the social, economic and environmental sustainability of BC farms and ranches.
