Co-operative insurer's new location will build upon its more than 70-year history in the community.

REGINA, Aug. 1, 2018 /CNW/ - Today, The Co-operators announced it will relocate its Regina corporate office by the end of 2019 to a central downtown location.

"The Co-operators has a proud history in Regina that dates back more than 70 years," said Rob Wesseling, president and CEO. "We are committed to remaining an employer of choice in this community, and believe our new facility will provide a modern environment to meet the current and future needs of our more than 650 Regina-based employees."

The facility will include wellness-based features that support healthy living and reflect The Co-operators strong commitment to sustainability and employee well-being. Located in the downtown core at 1900 Albert Street, the building will be completely renovated and renamed The Co-operators Place when the organization assumes occupancy.

The new Regina office will serve as a hub for The Co-operators life and health insurance operations.
