MONTREAL, Jan. 30 /CNW/ - For the fourth consecutive year, L'UNION
CANADIENNE, COMPAGNIE D'ASSURANCES has ranked among the top employers in
Canada, according to The Globe and Mail's Report on Business magazine. This
year, the company placed among the 20 Best Employers in Canada in the new
category of small and medium businesses with between 50 and 399 employees.
The list of top Canadian employers is drawn up using the results of a
survey of the country's employees undertaken by Hewitt Associates. This year,
employees from over 120 companies voluntarily participated in the poll.
Two-thirds of L'UNION CANADIENNE's employees participated in this study.
A reliable information gathering tool, the survey allows the company to
evaluate its human resource management practices, which have a positive
influence on the business's development.
